National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited (NCB) has introduced the NCB Visa Gold credit card. The new product designed to meet the needs of the middle to high income earners, offers a cash rebate of up to 2%.  NCB Visa Gold customers will also enjoy the convenience of local and international purchases with one card and the ease of repayment in Jamaican Dollars.  The NCB Visa Gold card is the first premium card product in the NCB card family. It offers cardholders a simple reward programme that gives them automatic cash back every time the card is used.

The largest indigenous bank in Jamaica, National Commercial Bank (NCB), continues to record strong performance in spite of the economic challenges, demonstrating its strength through experience and sound management.   The group announced the third quarter’s financial results at an Investors’ Briefing held at the NCB Wellness & Recreation Centre recently;  reporting a net profit of $8.08 billion for the nine months which represents a 10.1% increase ($742 million) year over year.

National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited (NCB) has committed to silver sponsorship of this year’s staging of the National Exporters’ Month being staged by the Jamaica Exporters’ Association (JEA). The Association held church services, industry fora and workshops in addition to staging Expo Jamaica 2010 in association with the JMA.  NCB was also a major sponsor of the expo which showcased a wide selection of Jamaica’s businesses to international and local buyers, in addition to enthusiastic consumers.

Over 300 NCB employees turned out across the island on Labour Day as change agents to physically perform in the communities in which they serve. In observance of National Labour Day, employees had the opportunity to choose projects under the NCB Project Change; which is a staff volunteerism initiative that seeks to create a positive impact through meaningful change within communities.
