NCB Funds Direct

Increase your efficiency with NCB Funds Direct and effectively manage your company's cash flow. NCB Funds Direct allows for direct deposits and direct payments electronically across all commercial banks. Direct deposits include:

• Pension Payments
• Dividend Payments
• Transfers between businesses e.g. accounts payable and receivable entries, and recurring payments.Direct payments include:
  • Insurance premiums
  • Standing Instructions across Banks
  • Loan payments,
  • Mortgage payments and utility payments.

Using NCB Funds Direct will not only increase efficiency, but reduce operational costs. NCB is one of the most active and experienced users of the Automated Clearing House (ACH) platform in the marketplace.

Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS)

The RTGS is a payment system specifically designed to process large value and time critical payments by financial markets participants on a real time, transaction by transaction basis continuously on any given business day. The RTGS replaces the deferred settlement system that facilitated posting of net obligations of participants on a batch basis throughout the day and settlement at end of day against accounts at the BOJ.

NCB being the largest commercial bank processes and receives large value payment to/from other commercial banks on behalf of clients without direct access to the BOJ.  The transfers across banks are done electronically and are real time payments.
