National Commercial Bank Jamaica Ltd. (NCB) has emerged as one of the outstanding performers within the Banking Category of the 2008/2009 World Finance Awards. Jamaica is in fact listed among 36 countries whose financial institutions are being recognized by the Awards as industry leaders.
NCB was the recipient of World Finance’s “Most Innovative Bank” Award. NCB Group Managing Director, Patrick Hylton sees this as “a gratifying acknowledgement that the Bank is setting the standard in our sector for consistently finding innovative financial solutions and services that meet the changing needs of our customers.”
The NCB chief executive noted that the company was particularly pleased to be winning that prestigious award. “Innovation is a key component of our organization’s value structure and forms one of our three critical brand pillars. We place our customers at the centre of everything that we do and underscore that commitment by always finding sustainable and innovative ways to make the term ‘excellent service’ more relevant to each of our customers,” Mr. Hylton added.
The World Finance Awards – which are presented by World Finance, a leading, London-based financial magazine which World News Media produces from its global Headquarters in London – were created in 2007 to identify industry leaders, individuals, teams and organizations that represent the benchmark of achievement and best practice in the financial and business world.
