How many Jamaican organizations experienced emancipation and national independence with Jamaica? Of the few, National Commercial Bank Jamaica Ltd. (NCB) is proud to be growing with and supporting Jamaica for 175 years. Indeed the history of Jamaica's leading financial Group is inextricably intertwined with the journey of Jamaica since 1837. Since then, NCB has grown to become the nation's premier home-grown financial institution and, in this its 175th year, remains steadfast in its aim to encourage financial wellness amongst its customers and the wider population. "What we have accomplished is no easy feat," said Patrick Hylton, NCB's Group Managing Director. "The financial industry is a very competitive one but with our adept and knowledgeable leadership team we continue to maximize on opportunities within our environs to ensure that we remain relevant to our customers while remaining viable in these times." Charged with organizing the 175th celebrations, Sheree Martin, General Manager, Marketing, Communications & Service Delivery said, "since the start of the year, several activities have been undertaken to mark this momentous milestone. This is a big year for NCB and an even bigger year for Jamaica. We at NCB have been very strategic with partnering with Jamaica50 to extend our support to celebrating our beautiful country but we have also been creating opportunities to celebrate with our customers and employees." As NCB looks to the future, the financial wellbeing of all Jamaicans is of utmost importance. It is against this background that our new corporate campaign 'Put Your Best Life Forward' was launched. The campaign is designed to offer sound financial advice to Jamaicans and empower them to improve their financial standing. "As a nation at the crossroads of reflection and aspiration, we must make a commitment to develop financial habits that can result in sustainable success. Put Your Best Life Forward is all about helping all Jamaicans to take the necessary steps to live our best life possible," commented Martin.
