NCB celebrates over 400 employees' Record Time

23 Jun 2012

"In our 175th year, we are pleased to be honouring and celebrating the Record Time of 430 team members whose strength and tenacity have contributed to the success that we at the National Commercial Bank Jamaica Ltd (NCB) enjoy today," said Patrick Hylton, NCB Group Managing Director. 'Record Time' is the theme for NCB's Long Service Awards 2012, which is scheduled for June 26, 2012 and will take place at Usain Bolt's Tracks & Records.  Last year's Long Service Awardees saw 197 employees being treated to a retro-styled affair at the Terra Nova Hotel, and they were taken down memory lane, under the theme 'Celebrating Milestones'.  "The numbers have mushroomed by 120% this year and it is imperative that we seize every opportunity to engage and recognize the hard work, contribution and accomplishments of our dedicated team members," stated Rickert Allen, Senior General Manager, NCB Group Human Resources. "Through this event, we are able to truly honour and acknowledge our employees who have been at the Bank for 10-40 years, building their legacy through this fine home-grown institution," commented Allen.  As a part of the planned 175th celebrations, NCB has ensured that staff members are duly appreciated and celebrated. In January, the organisation staged its 10th annual Pinnacle Awards, where over 30 of the highest performing sales and service employees as well as top-notch branches were awarded for their outstanding performances during the 2010/2011 Financial Year. In February, NCB's Corporate Learning Campus (CLC) Excellence Awards ceremony was held to commend over 100 graduates who completed training in leadership and development programmes throughout the NCB Group. "We herald our team members as our most valuable asset and the Long Service Awards underscores our commitment to recognising employees for their significant contribution and excellent service to the Company," commented Patrick Hylton, NCB Group Managing Director.
