23 Apr 2012

National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited (NCB) has Jamaicans energized to 'follow the bird' to Expo Jamaica at the National Arena this weekend. NCB is once again a major sponsor of what is indisputably the island's largest expo of its kind serving up scores of booth holders from the manufacturing, production and service industries to over twenty thousand patrons over four days beginning Thursday April 26, 2012. "As the nation's bank, the NCB Group is committed to strengthening our legacy of service through continued support of the initiatives championed by the Jamaica Manufacturers' Association (JMA) and Jamaica Exporters' Association (JEA); the work of these entities is critical to economic growth and development and we stand proudly in support of them at every opportunity," said Patrick Hylton, NCB Group Managing Director. Expo Jamaica has a track record of turning out some of the most innovative booth displays and product/service offerings at each staging and this year promises to up the ante. "Jamaica 50th presents a unique opportunity for local brands to showcase what makes us unique and why an investment in 'homegrown' is an investment in Jamaica," stated Hylton. "As a homegrown institution celebrating 175 years of contributing to the development of our country, this occasion has heightened significance for NCB." This weekend, visitors to the NCB booth are promised a multisensory technologically enhanced experience. Patrons are encouraged to 'follow the Bird' to Expo Jamaica to get thousands of Lovebird Keycard rewards on the spot, as well as avail of the entire suite of NCB products and services that will be at their disposal. These include loan and deposit offerings, credit cards, the SME product suite, as well as wealth management and investment advice and opportunities from NCB Insurance Company and NCB Capital Markets experts. "NCB is pleased to be the official financial partner of Expo Jamaica. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve them over the years and look forward to another stellar showing by all," expressed Hylton.
