New RTGS Bulk Upload Feature

As of Monday May 2, 2016, our Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) Business Online Application was upgraded with a new File Bulk Upload Feature. This feature facilitates multiple payments to multiple RTGS participants. What are the benefits of this feature? With the implementation of this new feature, there is no limit on the number of payments or participants within a file. This will result in a reduction in the time spent processing payments and further improve your overall efficiency. Other benefits include: All RTGS transactions can be processed with just one file. Files can be vetted by a Company User prior to being uploaded into RTGS Online and saved for further (re)use. No beneficiary creation is needed prior to processing the upload. Files for upload can be generated directly from a company’s accounting package; therefore reducing potential human errors. RTGS files can now be uploaded for the real time processing of transactions. What are the fees? The fees and charges related to the processing of payments via RTGS Business Online are as follows: Batch Payments – Existing Feature Customers can continue to make a maximum of 20 payments or any part thereof to ONLY one participant at a cost of: SERVICE/FEATUREFEE $173 + GCT How do you access this service? All business internet banking customers are able to avail of this new feature by following the steps below: New RTGS customers are required to apply for the service by way of completing the RTGS section of our Business Internet Banking Application Form; available on our website at Business Online Banking Applicaiton Form. Completed applications should then be sent to your Business Banker. The RTGS Application setup will be completed within [3-5 business days] and you will then be able to login to your Business Online profile and access the RTGS Portal.
