What you need to do ProtectCard
Trust your gut!
If a call or email doesn’t sound quite right, report it to our Customer Care Centre, 8‌‌8‌‌‌8-‌‌‌NC‌‌‌B-‌‌FIRS‌‌T (8‌8‌‌8‌-‌‌6‌‌‌2‌‌‌‌2-‌‌3‌‌477). Report suspicious activity, or lost or stolen cards to us 24/7.
Secure Personal Identification Number (PIN)
Choose a number that is unique, easy for you to remember but hard for others to guess. If you own multiple cards, use different PINs across cards. And, never write your PIN where others may find it.
Look out for alerts!
Credit, prepaid and Visa Debit cardholders receive transaction alerts by text and email every time the card is used.
Constantly monitor your card activity!
Use the NCB mobile app or online banking to check your account or credit card transactions regularly.
Keep your information updated.
Ensure that we have your current telephone number, email address and other contact information so that you can receive transaction alerts every time that your card is used and so that we can reach out to you.

If you have a Credit or Prepaid card, use our self‌-‌care platform, managemycard.‌‌j‌n‌cb‌.c‌o‌m‌ to:
  • Immediately block/unblock your card for security.
  • Create ‘disputes’ on suspicious transactions.
  • Update your contact information so can receive transaction alerts.
  • Request a replacement card if your card is lost, stolen, or damaged.
