NCB scales down its Registrar operations

"N.C.B. Jamaica (Nominees) Ltd is not closing but based on a business decision will be scaling down normal operations over the next 90 days," said Belinda Williams, Manager- Group Corporate Communications. "This, as we aim to streamline and resource the segments of our business that directly support our core operations,"she said. The NCB Nominees offers Registrar and Transferring services to a select number of clientele which includes National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited and come January 2014 the Nominees will only be supporting the business of NCB Jamaica Limited. "We will cease providing services to all external clients within this period and have ensured that all the clients have been duly advised via telephone and letter," Williams also said. "The registrar and transferring functions are being handed back to respective clients and they will have the autonomy to explore alternate options."
