At some point in our lives, we are all affected by illness – whether it happens to us directly, or to a beloved family member or friend. The NCB Insurance family understands that these situations can be very difficult for those affected, and that is why we designed our no-medical-required critical illness insurance plan – ProCare – to help ease the inevitable financial burden that these situations bring.

Our ProCare plan provides insured customers with a lump sum settlement upon first diagnosis of the major illnesses or conditions covered. These conditions are heart attack, stroke, major burns, paralysis, loss of speech, deafness, blindness, coma and cancer. Insurance policies, including ProCare, contain exclusions in respect of each of the covered conditions. These are clearly outlined in the policy documents provided to the customer at the time of purchase of a ProCare plan.

We never hesitate to offer our customers our full support whenever they need it most. To do this, we treat each claim as priority, and do our due diligence to verify the claims before responding in the shortest possible time. We also take tremendous care in finding resolutions for every customer by consulting with expert physicians, and our team of advisors are always accessible to customers who have queries, need information or wish to escalate their claims. The process of reviewing claims is very important for all insurance companies, for all types of insurance, as paying claims not covered by policies may result in increased premium costs for other customers.

At NCB Insurance, we respect the privacy of our customers, and treat their information with full confidentiality. Therefore, we do not comment publicly on, or release any customer information that has been entrusted to us, without their consent. However, we maintain open lines of communication with our customers at all times, so they can call us toll-free (888- MY NEEDS), send us an email ([email protected]), chat to us on social media or visit any of our branches island-wide for assistance.
